Meet Briana

Hi, I’m Briana Mathias. I’m a CPA, business owner, and strategic financial advisor with more than 15 years of experience helping business owners understand their numbers, navigate growth, and make better financial decisions.

I started my career in public accounting, where I built a strong foundation in financial reporting, tax strategy, and business operations. Over time, I realized that many business owners needed more than accurate books and tax compliance. They needed someone who could help them understand what the numbers actually meant, plan ahead, and make confident decisions as the business grew.

That led me into strategic financial advisory work, where I now support a small number of established owner-led businesses with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and major business decisions.

My background also includes commercial real estate, investing, and business ownership, which gives me a practical perspective on how financial decisions affect the entire business, not just the financial statements.

Today, my work is centered around one idea: build a business worth owning.

I’m based in the Portland area and work with owners who want clear financial insight, thoughtful strategy, and a trusted advisor who will tell them what they need to hear, not simply what they want to hear.

Outside of work, I’m usually with my family, building Charmed, creating around Ownership, exercising, or finding a good cup of coffee.
